The New York Giants are hoping to bounce back with a vengeance in 2018 after a disappointing and unexpected three-win season last year. Although there’s a long way to go, the team has gotten off to an excellent start to the year with a seemingly repaired relationship with Odell Beckham Jr., a new head coach in Pat Shurmur, and the addition of rookie running back Saquon Barkley.
During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Giants owned the second overall pick and were thought to be seriously considering bringing in Eli Manning’s eventual successor due to the quarterback talent in the draft. Instead, the team decided to take Barkley, and it appears that was a popular choice as he already has the NFL’s best-selling jersey, according to DICK’s Sporting Goods.
